3. It’s gone … hands in grease!
3.1. Remove the pollen filter
a. Turn off the vehicle, apply the parking brake, and open the hood. This will allow you to access the passenger compartment filter located at the top left of the engine compartment.
b. Pull the cover on the left on the windshield bay in the engine compartment.
c. Open the holding rack by pulling towards you, and remove the pollen filter which is in two parts.
3.2. Install the new filter
d. There are two types of cabin filters:
· Whites (pollen) will be used for allergy concerns
· Blacks (activated charcoal) will be used to filter odors
e. Reposition the two small filters, taking care that the mounting direction indicated on the filter indicates the direction of airflow.
f. Close the rack and replace the cover.
g. Done !
